Dr. Susanna Zapreva

Dr. Susanna Zapreva has been a member of the Executive Board of Verbund AG since January 2024, where she is responsible for the international growth business, among other things. Prior to that, she was Chairwoman of the Executive Board of enercity AG in Germany from 2016 to 2023. Her career path led her to the energy industry via the consulting sector. Before moving to Germany, Dr. Susanna Zapreva was Managing Director of Wien Energie GmbH for nine years. She completed her degree in electrical engineering and subsequent doctorate in technical sciences at the Vienna University of Technology. In addition, Dr. Susanna Zapreva successfully completed a degree in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at the University of South Australia in Adelaide. She completed her management and leadership training at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. Dr. Susanna Zapreva holds several supervisory and advisory board positions in well-known companies in German-speaking countries.
